Arunya

Deep, hypnotic electronic music is Arunya's territory. She's a Hobart DJ, who also uses the palawa names nipaluna and lutruwita for home, and she draws her sound from the underground rather than the charts. Her sets are built as journeys, with tracks picked because they mean something to her and arranged to tell a story across the night. The aim is a floor that feels both energised and a little lifted. Book her where people have come to dance for a while, a late club night or an after-party, instead of a room that wants familiar hits between speeches.
