That's Archie Absinthe, a Melbourne drag clown whose character has spent centuries amusing kings and queens to stay one step ahead of the executioner. The act can be elegant, with silk fan work, or spooky and camp, and it pulls together circus, gender fluidity and an eerie, mysterious edge. The music is usually 80s or alternative, and Archie will take requests. Props come along with the act, so there's no set-up to organise. It suits a themed party or a festival where guests want something strange and playful. Archie travels up to 50 km.
