Apolett

House music with some history behind it is what Apolett plays. Her grounding came from seven years on Ibiza, where she worked alongside touring international DJs and helped shape what went into the island's famous parties. These days she lives in Naarm. Her sets mix old school house and minimal with waves of disco and funk, coloured by the sound of her own roots. Away from the decks she makes visual art and puts on Got the Sauce, an event series of her own. Along the way she's shared line-ups with Âme, Dyed Soundorom, Moodymann, Apollonia, Tini and Traumer. For a late party in Melbourne that wants a proper club feel, she's a DJ with the background for it.
