Annie Z sings in six languages, which comes in handy when your guest list spans a few cultures. Alongside English there's Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Mandarin and Spanish. She's a pianist and vocalist, covering R&B, smooth jazz, soul, pop, dance and acoustic reworkings, with Eastern touches in the voice. The night can be quiet lounge music, a singalong, an era theme or a dance set. Her residencies include Shangri-La Sydney and The Star, and in 2018 she opened for Dionne Warwick. Stage work includes the touring shows Duets the Show, Jamnation, Dancing in the Shadows of Motown, Blondes Have More Fun and Born This Way Gaga Tribute Show. She also does studio work, including a 2023 remix of Here Comes the Rain Again on the Perfecto label.
