Angry Old Men

More than 20 songs, each paired with a story about where it came from: that's the shape of The Songs and Tales of Angry Old Men. The music comes from songwriters like Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Nick Cave, Jim Morrison and John Mellencamp, and the tales fill in the surprising and little-known history behind the tracks. Matt Ross and Jeremy Edwards front the band, both singing and playing guitar. Wayne Kellett plays bass, Di Solomon is on keys and George Brugmans drums, and Wayne and Di sing as well. It's a sit-down show, best for a theatre, a club or a music lovers' night where the audience wants the backstory as much as the song. The show is based in Sydney.
