Andy McGarvie

Andy McGarvie has played thousands of gigs, and that much stage time teaches you to judge a crowd fast. For about twenty years he's worked in Melbourne and London as a guitarist for hire, a frontman and a music teacher. He can play across a huge spread of styles, which helps when three generations turn up and nobody agrees on music. He's also a songwriter in his own right, with two albums and three EPs released under his name and a spot as a finalist in the Vanda and Young Songwriters competition. He's played on plenty of other people's records and soundtracks too. Andy is based in Coburg.
