Andy Gatfield

Jazz, swing, rock, funk and African music all turn up in Andy Gatfield's working week. He leads two bands of his own, the swing and soul outfit The Aston Martinis and the jazz group Bluelounge. He also plays with Cajun Moon, soul jazz band Major Zulu and big band Mortal Blow, and with the African bands of Afro Moses and Gervais Koffi, alongside freelance work. He's recorded in all sorts of settings and toured interstate and overseas. Booked as a soloist, that background means he can shift style to suit the room, from a jazz-leaning dinner to something with more groove.
