Andrew Winton

Andrew Winton plays a one-of-a-kind instrument, a 13-string double-neck lap-slide built from a cypress tree root and named the Lucky 13, sourced from Alabama. He's released six albums and toured festivals nationally as well as in the US, where his blues and roots playing has picked up acclaim in the Southern states. A booking can go either way: a laid-back acoustic set of familiar songs, or a one-man-band show built to get a room moving. His humour and habit of talking to the crowd carry both versions, and he's played corporate events, pubs and shows of every size. Based in Perth.
