Ando is a musical soloist based in Perth, WA.
Ando brings two jobs in one booking. He sings over good backing tracks, switching between acoustic and electric guitar, and he's a DJ as well, so his solo-plus-DJ package covers a wedding or party that wants live songs and a dance playlist. The music stretches across about 50 years: old classics, sing-alongs, acoustic tunes, dance tracks and rock 'n' roll. His influences give a good idea of the range, with Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Hunters and Collectors and Crowded House alongside Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, Jack Johnson, John Butler, Oasis, Pearl Jam and Jet, reaching back to Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Ando has played professionally in Perth and overseas, and cocktail evenings and corporate events suit him too.
