Amraks

Amraks plays for dance floors that want something a little left of the charts. His sets blend driving breaks and house with garage touches and synth-heavy, euphoric passages, and he drops his own tracks in among them. It's club music with some feeling behind it, better suited to a warehouse party, a late bar or a festival stage than a wedding dinner. His scene was Canberra first. From 2018 he played on bills with Willaris K, HAAi, Skin On Skin, Kettama, X Club, Duskus and Human Movement. A 2021 move south brought him to Melbourne, and the singles that followed include Surface, Takara, WantMe2 and Quartz/Basalt. His mixes and releases have been played on Triple J, Triple J Unearthed and FBi Radio, among other stations.
