American Made packs three tribute shows into one night. It opens with Roy Orbison's songs, with Frank taking on the look and that big, aching voice. The middle belongs to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the songs behind Jersey Boys, with Les Stuart bringing the falsetto and plenty of personality. Then the Beach Boys close it out, all harmonies and sunshine, and the crowd usually ends up hula dancing. Three eras of American pop in one booking suits a club, a venue show or a themed party where the guests grew up on this music. The band is based in Melbourne.
