Amber Kenny is a guitarist based in Thirroul, NSW.
Amber Kenny's songs are built on melody and honest lyrics, and she plays them on her Maton guitar. Tamworth's country music festival has seen her three years in a row, on her own and as one third of 3 Birds & The Truth alongside Jo Caseley and Beth Lucas. Run Dry, her first single, came out in 2023 with Nash Chambers producing, and CMT put the video into rotation. That year she made her US debut at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe during AMERICANAFEST. On her first tour, Diaries of a Songwriter, she played Bundanoon's folk festival and the Irish and Celtic Music Festival in Yass. Guest players on her album Beautiful Scars include Clare O'Meara, Lloyd Swanton and Lyn Bowtell. She suits a listening room, a festival or an intimate event where people come for original songs.
