Amanda Dee fronts Soothe, a Perth band whose strong suit is 70s dance and funk. The songs don't stop there, though. Expect acid jazz, soul, reggae, R&B and pop too, so the band can follow the crowd wherever it goes. Amanda has been a professional performer in Perth for many years, and she has a soulful voice with a wide range. She has produced and performed floorshows for nightclubs and special events, among them a Diana Ross show. Soothe had a nine-year run at the Universal Bar in Northbridge and a long-running Saturday night spot at Benny's bar in Fremantle. Years of weekly residencies mean they know how to hold a floor for a whole night.
