Electric banjo, guitar, keys, harmonica, stomp box and tambourine, all shared between two people. That's how Ally Row get such a full, upbeat sound out of a duo. They play folk rock and alt country from Gunaikurnai Country in Gippsland, and they're triple j Unearthed winners. The songs are mostly their own, with warm vocals, soft harmonies and lyrics about the darker sides of love, set to a beat that gets feet tapping. Covers of Of Monsters and Men and Mumford & Sons sit in the mix. It suits a festival stage or any crowd keen to hear original music. They need power for a two-speaker PA and at least 3 by 3 metres of space. Based in Sale, they travel statewide.
