Allan Turner

Allan Turner's talk is about loss, and what one family chose to build from it. After the death of his daughter Zaidee, he and his wife Kim founded Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation and set out to get Australians talking about organ and tissue donation. He tells the story of that campaign: winning backing from hockey, soccer, basketball and cricket as well as the AFL and NRL, and seeing grassroots teams lace up in Zaidee's Rainbow Shoelaces. The message works for personal and corporate audiences alike, on overcoming adversity, making the most of every moment and what really matters in life and in death. He'll need a projector and screen with sound, and a lapel microphone. Allan is based in Shepparton and speaks nationwide.
