Ali

Ali is a singer-songwriter with Papua New Guinean and Australian roots, and she has lived in eight countries. That life on the move comes through in her songs, which pull from many musical places at once. She taught herself guitar and has put music at the centre of her life since. Her influences range across Bob Marley, Tracy Chapman, D'Angelo, Whitney Houston and Jack Johnson, which gives a sense of the warm, soulful and relaxed ground she covers.
