Ali Crane

For a wedding ceremony, Ali Crane learns the three songs you pick for walking in, signing and walking out as a married couple, then plays 20 minutes of music while guests arrive. If there's a particular recording you'd rather hear at one of those moments, she can cue that instead. She sings and plays acoustic guitar, with a voice trained through a Bachelor of Music in voice performance, and the repertoire draws on acoustic folk, easygoing jazz, blues and ballads that have lasted. Solo, duo and trio options are available. Her sound gear comes with her, and for a ceremony spot off the grid there's a PA that runs on batteries. Anywhere else, it's one power point and cover overhead. She's sung at corporate events, cafes, casinos and pubs around Australia, and has worked with Jimmy Barnes, Vanessa Amorosi and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Brisbane-based, she travels nationwide.
