Tribal percussion, a spiritual feel and groovy rhythms are the building blocks of an Alexez set. Alexis Cortez, the Sydney DJ behind the name, came up through electronic music and builds his sets around that rhythmic side, so he's a fit for a dance floor after dark rather than background music.
