Alex Hutchins

Alex Hutchins has spent more than 15 years playing acoustic sets across Tasmania, in pubs, bars, restaurants, wineries and at private functions. It's guitar and vocals, classic hits to modern favourites, and he changes direction as the night goes: easy background music over dinner, a livelier pub set, or big singalongs once the room is ready. He's added DJing too, mostly for weddings and private events, with more than 10 weddings done. So one booking can run from live acoustic music into a dance floor set later on. There's a duo option as well, for intimate or larger rooms. He performs as Alex Hutchins Music and is based in Hobart.
