Alex Crook

Folk, blues, country, pop and rock all sit in Alex Crook's set, and he pulls songs from several eras rather than sticking to one. Each one gets reworked a little, so a familiar tune comes out sounding like his own. He plays solo with guitar and voice, which keeps the setup small enough for a pub corner, a wedding or a Morning Melodies session. He writes his own songs too, if you'd like a few originals mixed in. Alex lives in Brisbane, and a gig as far as 100 km away is no trouble.
