ALETHIA

ALETHIA's songs move between two languages and several styles, mostly R&B and pop, with reggae and rock worked in. Her voice is soft and sultry, and her musical theatre training shows on stage, since she dances and acts as well as sings. Born in Colombia, she now lives and works in Melbourne. She's been nominated for Latin Grammys twice and for a Music Victoria Award, with her song To You in the mix. Her debut album launched with a show at the Athenaeum Theatre, and Rolling Stone AU/NZ has featured her work. The songs themselves deal with love, healing and looking inward.
