Alec Sander likes a long set. His personal best is ten hours, so an all-night booking is no stretch. Weekends, he's running warehouse raves in Sydney that go late on techno and bass, and midweek he's the resident at a jazz night, which says a lot about his range. Between those two poles sit dubbed-out reggae and versions, head-nodding boom-bap hip-hop, lounge and downtempo, and the stranger underground end of club music. For a party that starts slow and goes deep, or a bar that wants something beyond the usual playlist, he's worth a look.
