ALAIKA

Acid techno, peak-time energy and a dark edge: ALAIKA plays for sweaty dance floors and hands in the air. Born in Argentina and now based in Sydney, he builds his sets on driving grooves and hypnotic acid lines, working the tension and release until the room gives in. He can take the peak-time slot or set the mood earlier in the night. He's been playing booths in Sydney and Melbourne, with an opening slot at The Room ahead of Paul van Dyk and a warm-up set before acid techno DJ Marie Vaunt. He suits club nights and late parties where the crowd wants it dark and relentless.
