Adele Oliver

Adele Oliver's songs come out of the Kimberley, where she grew up, and Rubibi, the Broome she now calls home. She writes earthy folk and alt country about love, resilience and life in the regions, and delivers it with a dry wit and a lot of honesty. Her shows feel close and personal. She'll tell the story behind a song, let a quiet line land, and draw the room in rather than play over it. Put her in a small room where people have turned up to listen, or on an afternoon folk stage, and she's at her best. She has toured nationally, been played on radio around the country and picked up several WACMAs.
