Adam Shand

Give Adam Shand an hour and he'll take your audience inside Australia's underworld. He has spent three decades as an investigative journalist covering organised crime, and he hosts Real Crime with Adam Shand. His talks are about the standover men, the informers, the detectives and the cases that made headlines, told with the detail of someone who was there and a dark sense of humour. He tailors each one to the room, whether it's a corporate dinner, a club, a festival or a private function, and he's happy to take questions at the end. He can also MC or present virtually. Set-up is light: a lapel or handheld mic and a PA, with a lectern and screen in bigger rooms if he's showing visuals, plus 15 to 20 minutes to sound check. He's based in Melbourne and travels nationwide.
