Acoustic Oz is a musical duo based in Geelong, VIC.
Two brothers, two guitars and a songbook of Aussie rock: Steve and Jason Coghill are Acoustic Oz, and both of them sing. Expect Cold Chisel, Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil, Icehouse, Crowded House, Paul Kelly, Split Enz, Mental As Anything and Powderfinger, with songs like Flame Trees, Beds Are Burning, Great Southern Land, Horses, Khe Sanh, Cool Change and Don't Dream It's Over. It's a set made for people who know the lyrics. The brothers have played in bands since the 80s, much of it Oz rock covers, and their support slots include Chocolate Starfish, Joe Camilleri, Russell Morris, Renée Geyer and Brian Cadd. All they need is a standard power point close by. They're based in Geelong and travel nationwide.
