Abba Girls is a tribute show based in Varsity Lakes, QLD.
Two singers in replica ABBA costumes, harmonising live over custom-made tracks, with some deliberately silly accents thrown in. That's the Abba Girls show. They play two 50-minute sets and pull the audience into it, so expect plenty of singing along to Waterloo, Super Trouper, Fernando and Mamma Mia, with Dancing Queen, SOS, Take a Chance on Me and Knowing Me, Knowing You on the list too. Audio and lighting come with them. They need a 3 x 3 metre performance space with power, a private change room with a mirror where their gear can be stored, and to get into the venue three hours ahead of the start. Clubs, parties, festivals and work functions are where they usually turn up. They're from Varsity Lakes, travel Australia-wide and carry public liability insurance.
