A One Man Circus

Kids and grown-ups laugh at the same moments in A One Man Circus, and that's what it's built for. Morgan James mixes physical comedy, audience participation, spinning plates and juggling, and his speciality is the diabolo, the Chinese yo-yo. He's a larrikin on stage with a quick, random wit, and the family crowd gets pulled into the act. The show has collected a string of Fringe World awards: Overall Best Children's Event in 2022 and 2023, the Children's Event Award in 2018, a Critic's Choice weekly award in 2022 and the 2023 Sydney Fringe Tour Ready Award. At Sydney Fringe in 2025 it won a weekly Best Kids Show award and silver for Best in Genre, and Brighton Fringe in the UK nominated it for Best Kids Show in 2024. Morgan performs solo from West Perth and travels Australia-wide.
