A Band Called Twang is a cover band.
A Band Called Twang is a dance band, first and foremost. Their music is original, high-energy rockabilly and roots Americana, sung with several voices out front, and the shows have a way of pulling people onto the floor. The band formed in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in 2013 and soon made a mark on the Brisbane scene. They've played some of the country's best-loved rock 'n' roll festivals, with sell-out shows along the way. For a rockabilly night, a vintage-themed party or a festival stage, they're a natural pick.
