80s Tribute Band Melbourne is a tribute band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Two hour-long sets, two sides of the 80s. The first, Fluoro 80s, is the pop half, with Madonna, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston next to Cyndi Lauper, The Pointer Sisters, a-ha, Wham, Lionel Richie and The Buggles, and shoulder pads, mullets and big hair to match. Then the guitars come up for Rock 80s: Guns N' Roses, Journey and Bon Jovi, Joan Jett, Blondie and Rick Springfield, plus Bryan Adams and AC/DC, while the costumes switch to faux leopard skin. With the look taken that seriously, this Melbourne band is an easy call for an 80s theme party. They also play weddings, corporate events, venue nights and private functions.
